Last updated: August 18, 2026 This privacy policy describes how the Kings & Queens member app (“the App”), operated by Pips Meadery, collects, uses, and protects your information. The App is available only to existing Kings & Queens members and is not open to the general public.
Information We Collect
When you use the App, we collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, and member tier, tied to your existing Kings & Queens membership account.
- Order history: products you purchase or reserve through the App, including custom orders, special-release items, and event tickets.
- Push notification token: a device identifier used solely to send you notifications relevant to your account (such as order updates, waitlist availability, or auction status), if you enable notifications.
- Pickup booking details: if you book a pickup time, your name, phone number, and requested time slot are recorded to coordinate your visit.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are processed directly by Stripe and PayPal, our third-party payment processors, under their own privacy policies.
- We do not track your location.
- The App’s camera feature is used only to scan event ticket QR codes at check-in. Camera images are processed on your device and are never saved, stored, or transmitted.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to operate your account, fulfill and track your orders, manage event check-in and ticketing, coordinate pickup bookings, and send you account-related notifications. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
How We Share Your Information
We share information only as needed to operate the App:
- Stripe and PayPal process payments directly; we do not have access to your full card details.
- Google Calendar is used internally by our staff to schedule and manage pickup bookings.
- Our website and member data are hosted on WordPress/WooCommerce infrastructure operated on our behalf.
We do not share your information with any other third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your account and order information for as long as your membership is active, or as needed to comply with our legal and tax obligations.
Your Choices
You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the information below.
Alcohol-Related Products
The App facilitates orders for alcoholic beverages and is available only to verified members of legal drinking age. All applicable state and local alcohol laws apply to purchases and pickups made through the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.
